It has been sometime sense we have done anything with the blog. The pictures will explain why. When the flood hit middle Tennessee we were one of its many victims. After three long months of hard work, we are in our new office. It is a change for everyone, but a good one. We had 10′ of water come in and out in less than 12 hours, and it did it twice on May 1 and 2.
We are proud of everyone here, because we did not miss a day. We cleaned up, modified things and keep moving forward. We want to think everybody for your help and patiences during this time. It would have been harder than it was with out the help and support of friends. Thanks to everyone.
It has been a while since I have put anything on the Blog, but I did want to put this on. We have been asked “what do we do to trailers before they are ready to go”. The way to put this are before and after picture of some of the units we are doing now. These are pictures of “older” open tops that a customer has purchased. When they get them, they are ready to go. We have done everthing the trailer needed to put it back into service, plus paint these units. All trailers go through this type of process before they are delivered. Sometimes “a picture is worth a thousand words.”
We just shipped another band trailer into Texas. They found us through our web site looking at the units we have done for other groups. We found a furniture van for them and it fit what they wanted in a trailer. With the color of the trailer and the decals added, it really made for a good looking trailer. Thanks for everything Frank and the Lobos.
“We LOVE the trailer!!!! You guys did a spectacular job!! Every teacher on our campus has come by the band hall or emailed me to show their enthusiasm. Thanks again! It was a pleasure doing business with you!” – Frank F., Director of Bands, Little Elm ISD
We have been doing units for smaller local fleets in the area. We did here some news that makes you feel good. We sold a 1997 Great Dane 53′ van to a local company. They have come back to get a couple more units because they have gotten so many complements on that trailer, and they got that from the people loading the trailer. When you hear things likes this, it makes you feel good about the product you are putting on the road.
I will be putting other units we have done shortly, I need to put pictures with them so you can see units.
Thanks, Your friends at F&S
We are hoping everyone had a good Christmas. When we came back, we are trying to wrap up the projects started by the end of the year. I just went and saw this unit that we had the opportunity to be involved with. I would love to say we did it all, but we didn’t. They mounted a 10,000 gallon water tank to this trailer with a heating and cooling unit on the front. They will pull this unit to job sites that require this type of application. The tank is going to insulated later this week. Even though we just supplied the trailer, it makes us proud to see the final product knowing the customer was just as proud of it as we are
We are finishing up some others that are being shipped every where from Texas to Canada. I will have those published later.
Everyone have a Safe and Happy New Year !!
We are continuing to put trailers in to service and adding special application to each individual trailer. We are customizing one now to hold a special piece of equipment used for exploration of swamp areas. It is always interesting contributing and “brain storming” with people on their special projects, this one was for electrical line construction. There was also a custom trailer that we left the back door system off for a custom gate system to be installed. We changed the paint up on this one doing it black on the bottom and yellow on top. This unit will stick out in a crowd.
We are extending trailer for a customer this week. We have sold this gentlemen 6 units over the past couple of months and he never sees them till they are delivered. We will extend the trailer at the drop to give them as much floor space as they needs to fill their obligations on their end. They do run coast to coast with these units. We will start painting the unit later this week. I will post those pictures when completed. Also, the GREEN effect is hitting a bunch of industries, so we are working in that direction with the lumber/logging industry. We are representing Peerless walking floors for this purpose, or we will customize one of our existing trailers to fit there need. It is rewarding when the unit you help design, works for the purpose it was built for. I will get the pictures here as soon as it is done.
